Before you connect
Do I need to buy an OBD or GPS tracker?
No. Sentry uses a supported car screen as the vehicle-side software terminal. No extra OBD or GPS tracker is required.
Can Sentry help me find my car?
Yes. Free shows the last ignition-off location. Pro adds live vehicle location, detailed place information and navigation back to the vehicle. Availability depends on positioning, network access and successful reporting.
What is the main difference between Free and Pro?
Free provides the essential connected experience. Pro adds live and detailed location, navigation to the vehicle, complete trip information, proactive fence alerts and richer driving insights.
How will I activate Sentry?
At launch, you can purchase in the Sentry app for automatic activation, or purchase an activation code from the Toppal store and enter it manually on the car screen.
Does Sentry physically prevent vehicle theft?
No. Sentry helps you locate and stay aware of your vehicle, but it does not physically prevent theft or replace an independently powered alarm or tracking device.
